PP20 Peggy Peg Signal Storm Strap

When it gets stormy, our 13m long Storm Strap securely anchors your awning to the ground. Stretched over the front of the awning, it’s fixed on both ends using built-in spring loops that relieve tension and reduce stress on the frame, allowing for flexibility even under wind pressure.

The storm strap is best secured using Peggy Pegs based on soil type:

• Peggy N, L, or LA — For varying soil conditions
• Anchor Plate 1.0 — Provides optimal anchoring with the integrated storm hook

The "Peggy-orange" color ensures excellent visibility in the dark. To reduce noise, twist the strap before securing it to the ground. Do not use ratchet belts, as they are too rigid. The strap system is intentionally designed to move slightly with the wind, minimizing damage to your setup.

How to Use:

1. Throw the strap over the top of your awning.
2. Twist the strap to reduce flapping noise in the wind.
3. Hook each spring loop to the ground using suitable Peggy Pegs.
4. If resistance is met, stop screwing and use the hook closest to the ground for best grip.
5. If applicable, use the steel storm hook P11-1 on Anchor Plate 1.0 to lock the strap into place for extra stability.
