Header for Fix & Go Anchor Plate second edition from Peggy Peg

Fast, Secure, and Easy Teardown!

Even in good weather, awnings should be securely fixed to the ground. The award-winning Fix&Go Anchor Plate 2.0 is your ultimate solution! Simply place the awning leg into the plate, lock it in position with the orange sliders, and secure it with suitable Peggy screw-in pegs.

Need to retract the awning quickly? Just release the sliders — your awning legs are free. To set it up again, slide the legs back into the still-secured plates.

The plate fits almost all awning and tent poles. Its flat design offers increased support, especially on sandy or soft ground. Use Peggy L or LA pegs in the open hole of the plate for optimal anchoring on loose terrain. Peg&Stop pegs with locknuts provide excellent grip across different soil types.

Instructions for Use:

  1. Open the sliders by pressing the orange buttons.
  2. Place the plate on the ground and insert the awning leg.
  3. Close the sliders by pushing them together to lock the leg in place.
  4. Secure the plate using any Peggy Peg screw-in peg with a hook or locknut.
  5. Optional: Insert the included storm hook through any of the six square holes (bottom to top) to attach guy lines or storm straps either directly down or at a 45° angle.

In case of sudden weather changes, use the quick-release sliders to remove the awning leg in seconds and safely store the awning.

Compatible Pegs:

  • All Peggy Peg screw-in pegs with a hook or locknut
  • L and LA pegs (must use the open hole for proper fit)
  • Peg&Stop pegs (N, HD) for secure hold in challenging soil conditions

⚠️ Note: Avoid using the S-Peg with the Anchor Plate – it is designed only for groundsheets and carpets.

FAQ

What is the metal hook for?

The storm hook can be inserted from the bottom to the top through one of the four square holes in the anchor plate. Once inserted, guy lines or storm straps can be attached. These can be secured either directly downward to minimize tripping hazards or at a 45° angle if space permits.

What is the difference between Fix&Go Anchor Plate 1.0 and the Fix&Go Anchor Plate 2.0?

The Anchor Plate 2.0 PP16 is designed for box-style awnings from brands such as Fiamma, Thule, and Dometic, and it can also be adapted for Awnlux awnings.

How do I secure the plate on different terrains?

Normal/Grass Conditions:

We recommend using Peg&Stop screws, specifically PP01 or PP04 for softer or wetter conditions. For optimal stability, use three pegs per plate arranged in a triangular formation: one peg in the center and two pegs on the opposite side in the outer holes.

Stones or Tough Conditions:

For rocky or difficult terrain, use the HP61 or HP60 screw-in pegs. For optimal results, hammer the HP61 pegs into the ground. The HP60 pegs can be installed using an impact driver. In these conditions, we recommend using two pegs per plate, placing them diagonally in the outer holes.

Sand / Beach:

For securing plates on the beach, we recommend using four pegs per plate. Consider using our Long PP12 or Long Aluminium PP13 pegs in combination with either the PP04 or PP01 screws.

First, determine where the awning leg will be placed and mark the center of the open hole using the L or LA peg. Temporarily remove the plate, then screw in the peg. If the sand is very fine, remove the top layer of sand for better grip before inserting the peg.

Once the peg is in place, reattach the plate using the open hole. Use either the PP04 or PP01 screws for the other three holes, ensuring a total of four pegs per plate.
