Made from high-strength fiberglass-reinforced, UV-resistant polyamide, it’s adaptable to all our Peggy Pegs for secure ground anchoring.

Thanks to its lever adjustment, Crocodile PEGGY® applies just the right amount of pressure—even to delicate materials. From fixing carpets or sunshades to hanging towels, slides, or awning fabrics, the possibilities are endless.

Pair it with our CrocAdapter (sold separately), which slides into your awning rail, or use the U-Connector (sold separately) to link with a TieStrap 2.0 for clamping onto large tarps or surfaces that don’t have sail tracks or eyelets. This setup is ideal for creating storm straps or quick shade setups.

Usage Instructions:

• To clamp a carpet: Open the lever by turning it counterclockwise, insert the carpet material, then twist the lever a few times clockwise until clamped. No need to overtighten—pressure intensifies when locked.
• To hang items on the awning rail: Insert the Croc-Adapter into the sail track, click the Crocodile PEGGY® onto it, and hang towels, clothes, or create a shade with fabric.
• To secure to the ground: Use the fitting Peggy screw peg for your soil conditions and clamp items like tarps or gazebos securely.
• To create a clamp-on storm strap: Use a U-Connector to attach the Crocodile PEGGY® to a TieStrap 2.0. Perfect for securing tarps or areas without rails or eyelets.

How do I use the crocodile?

For Holding Down Carpet:

1. Open the lever and twist it counterclockwise to release.
2. Insert the carpet material in the desired position between the two plates.
3. Twist the lever a couple of times (there’s no need to twist too often, as the pressure increases once it’s locked down).
4. Use the appropriate Peggy screw peg for the ground conditions to secure the carpet in place.

For Hanging from a Sail Track (Croc-Adapter needed):

1. Slide the Croc-Adapter into the sail track.
2. Hook the Crocodile onto the Croc-Adapter button until it clicks into place.
3. You can now hang items to dry or create quick shade using a larger towel or material.

The Crocodile can also be connected to the Tie-strap 2.0 using our U-connector. This setup can be used for a tarp, your gazebo, or a 270° awning, among other applications.

How do I attach the crocodile to the Tiestrap?

To start, unhook the T-connector and replace it with our U-connector. Next, attach a crocodile clip, and you're done! You can now use the crocodile clip as intended—simply clamp it onto the desired anchor point or material. This setup is perfect for creating sunshades, storm straps, or securing tarps in stormy conditions.

Will the Crocodile rip my tarp?

The Crocodile Peg is crafted from reinforced, UV-resistant plastic and features a design free of sharp edges. The clip's teeth are rounded, ensuring safety and preventing any jagged or sharp points.

What makes these clips secure is the adjustable jaw pressure, which allows you to customize it according to the material and conditions. This adaptability helps minimize any potential damage.
