Description:

The Tie Strap 2.0 is an adjustable storm strap (1.5 to 3 meters), specially developed for securely guying awnings, tents and sun sails. Thanks to the continuous strap, no loose ends hang down, which simplifies handling. An integrated tension-relief spring absorbs wind forces and thus protects the joints of the awning arms, relieving the entire structure.

Application:

• Slide the grey T-Connector into the keder track or place the hole of the T-Connector over a tent pin.

• Attach and twist the Tie Strap 2.0 around its own axis to minimize flapping and humming noises.

• Screw a screw-peg (types N, L, LA, HC (hammered in)) or a Peg&Stop screw-peg (N, S, HD) directly through the spring eye.

• Important: never use the small screw-peg (S) for guying — only suitable for securing eyelets and mats.

• If the screw-peg cannot be screwed in completely, check stability. If it's firm, place the hook or the lock-nut in the lowest possible position above the spring.

 • This keeps the spring close to the ground — with maximum holding power and minimal leverage.

 • Prevents upward movement of the spring, even in strong wind.

Tips for use:

• Twisting around its own axis helps minimise flapping and humming noises.

• Always align the Peggy-logo of the straps or crocodiles toward the stud — this ensures a secure connection.

• The T-Connector adjusts to different cassette shapes thanks to its flexible material. Example: Instagram video

• Mandatory when mounting side panels using Fix&Go AntiFlap (PP19).
