The TieStrap is a clever extension for every awning owner. The brightly colored strap is adjustable between 1.5–3 meters without loose cord ends. It’s perfect for storm anchoring most awnings and can also be used with tents or sun sails.

When used with Fix&Go AntiFlap, the TieStrap is essential for attaching side elements to your awning. It slides into the awning rail using the enclosed T‐Connector and anchors to the ground with a Peggy Peg or U-shaped hook from the Anchor Plate 1.0 or 2.0.

The incorporated spring absorbs much of the wind’s force. This spring system — the first of its kind in the European camping market — keeps the strap flexible even under pressure. Unlike traditional storm straps, the TieStrap distributes wind force along the entire front aluminum bar of the awning, ensuring stability.

All Peggy Peg sizes fit through the spring loop, ensuring secure tensioning even if the strap isn’t pulled tight. The strap should be stretched away from the vehicle to optimize anchoring.

How to Use

1. Insert the blue T-Connector into your awning or sail track.
2. Attach and twist the TieStrap to minimize flapping and prevent buzzing sounds:contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}.
3. Screw a Peggy Peg (types N, L, LA, HC or Peg&Stop N, S, HD) through the spring eyelet into the ground.
   Important: Do not use the S-Peg for the TieStrap as it is intended only for ground sheets and carpets, not for structural anchoring.
4. If the peg cannot be fully inserted, check its stability:
   • If it is firm, either click the hook or screw the locknut (Peg&Stop) into the lowest position on the spring loop.
   • This ensures the spring stays closest to the ground, maximizing leverage force and pulling strength.
   • This also physically prevents the spring from moving upwards and ensures it stays locked in windy conditions, which can occur with open-ended or hook-only connections.
