Frequently Asked Questions — Answered Simply.
Will the set fit my awning? (Thule, Dometic, Fiamma)
Yes. The Fix&Go Anchor Plate 2.0 is universally compatible with all common awning models from Thule Omnistor, Dometic and Fiamma. If you're unsure, simply send our customer service team a photo of your setup and we'll be happy to help.
Does it work on sand and hard ground?
Yes – that's exactly what the set is designed for. The softer the ground, the longer the peg should be. The 31 cm Long Screw-In Peg is ideal for sand, while the Hardcore Aluminium Hammer Screw-In Peg has been developed specifically for hard ground.
How long does it really take to set up?
After setting it up two or three times, you'll have everything secured in under 5 minutes. Thanks to the Quick Release System, packing away takes less than 2 minutes.
How much wind can the system withstand?
There isn't a simple answer, as it depends on several factors: the type of ground, whether the correct pegs have been used, the number of anchoring points and how the awning has been set up. From many years of experience, we know that our screw-in pegs provide exceptional holding power and that other parts of the awning are more likely to fail first. Even so, we always recommend retracting your awning if strong winds or storms are forecast. While our anchoring system may continue to hold, the awning fabric or frame is not designed for storm conditions and could be damaged.
What if I want to return my order?
You have a 14-day right to return your order. Simply send the unused set back to us and we'll refund the full purchase price. If you need advice on choosing the right products for your particular setup, just get in touch – our customer support team usually replies within 4 working hours on business days.
Are spare parts available?
Yes. Some spare parts can be purchased individually, while others are available directly through our customer support team – even after 5+ years. We're a family-owned business founded in 2009, and we don't believe in disposable products. Just get in touch and we'll be happy to help.
